To say that Bianca was mad was an understatement, because she was absolutely furious. Not only had Carina gone and snuck away while the two of them were going back to the hotel after being out all day shopping, but she had also gone and got herself kidnapped and got her father questioning Bianca’s ability to guard his daughter. It hadn’t been her fault and she had gone to look for her every day since she’d disappeared, but of course Don DeLuca was going to blame her because she was supposed to be Carina’s bodyguard. She understood Carina’s desire to get away and escape the sheltered life her father had been keeping her inside for basically her entire life, but to sneak away from Bianca – who was supposed to be her best friend – the way she had was just plain stupid. She had to have known that without knowing how to defend herself she would get hurt or kidnapped like that, but maybe that was giving her friend too much credit. Bianca had actually been trying to push Carina into learning how to defend herself and every time, Carina got lazy and complained, then convinced her to postpone the lessons until the next day where the same thing would happen. It was a tiresome cycle, and one that hadn’t changed even with moving to San Diego.
Thankfully, Carina was home now and being looked after by a doctor, but Bianca hadn’t been down to see her just yet. Part of her wanted too, but the other part – the more dominant one – was still too annoyed with her to actually go and see her. Of course, she gone crazy with worry about her best friend and was happy to know that she had gotten back safe, but the fact that she had put Bianca in a compromising situation with her father because she’d wanted a bit of time to herself was not sitting well with the eighteen year old. She understood that, but she wished that Carina had at least decided to have some time to herself inside the hotel where she couldn’t be taken; or, at least let Bianca teach her some self defence to prevent what had happened already. She knew that she wouldn’t be able to stay mad at Carina forever, but for now, she was and that wasn’t going to change for a while. She respected her friend’s desire to experience the world outside the safety of the Bella Rosa, but she didn’t respect her decision to sneak off without any knowledge of self defence and no means of protection. Bianca had been trained to be there for Carina and basically lay down her life for the girl with nothing in return, and she had stuck to that duty since the day she turned sixteen and became Carina’s official bodyguard, but right now she wished she had never gotten that job.
With those thoughts running through her head, Bianca sat up on her bed and played around on the laptop her father had given her a few weeks ago for days when she was just lounging around in her room and didn’t have to worry about keeping her best friend safe. She was currently in a pair of pyjama pants and a tank top, and her feet were nice and cozy inside her fluffy pink boot slippers. She was currently playing a game called Gemsweeper, and was utterly amused by it. It made her feel like a normal teenager when she did things like that, rather than an eighteen year old bodyguard and hit man in training and it made her feel good. Unfortunately, she was in a bit of a sour mood thanks to Carina, and wasn’t looking forward to the conversation they were going to have to have once the girl was able to come back to their room. Sighing, Bianca clicked the mouse and tried to focus on her game, attempting to keep her thoughts away from what had happened to her friend on her watch.

Carina had been brought a pair of her pajamas by one of the workers of the hotel, and she was now trying to slip them on. Of course, the doctor had to help her, and this was quite embarrassing. Her arm was now casted up with a bright peach cast - peach being her favorite color - and the cuts all over her body were stithced up. The slash above her eyebrow was now cleaned up, and her bottom, swollen lip was numbed by the medicine the doctor had applied to it. She was going to be fine, but she had to take it easy; that much was clear. One of her ribs had been shattered, so a prescription of pain pills had be given to her, and they were definitely working their magic. The shorts she slipped on revealed her banged up legs, and the tank top nightgown showed off her cut up arms. The main thing Carina was worried about now was looking normal again. After slipping on her night robe and slippers, she was escorted to her suite.
She slid the keycard in, the man who was escorting her peeked inside, surveying first, then allowed her to go in. The fact that he wasn't following her told her what she had been wondering all the way here: Bianca was here. Carina could feel her fingers start to shake as she limped in slowly. First, she went into her bedroom, grabbing her pink bear, which she slept with every night, then headed toward Bianca's room. Knocking once, she opened the door, looking in at her best friend. "Look, please let me talk before you say anything."
Carina walked all the way in, closing the door behind her. She wasn't sure how she could explain this to her best friend. The days leading up to her kidnapping had been rough on Carina; she wasn't leaving the hotel much because of her father's orders, and when she was leaving she was always accompanied by Bianca. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy being with her friend and bodyguard, she just needed to feel free, alive, for two seconds. When Carina had walked away that day, she had no idea that in the first five minutes of her freedom she was going to be snatched. Thinking back on it made Carina tear up a little, but she held them in. "I'm really sorry about all of this. If it helps at all, I talked to my father; I told him it wasn't your fault!" Carina stopped talking, and gulped down the rest of her words. There was no way to know what she should say without hearing Bianca's voice. She wanted to know if she was pissed at her; she needed to know if she was hating Carina right now. Carina walked a little closer to the bed, clutching her bear in her good arm, looking like a small child. She headed to the side of the bed and sat down slowly, hoping Bianca wasn't pissed enough to kick her out. Her large, doe eyes scanned her friend's face for any kind of reaction.[/blockquote] OTHER:woo! TAGGED:bianca! Bianca was really not feeling very social, and had ignored every phone call she’d gotten except for ones from her father. Thanks to Carina and her stupidity, Bianca’s life was about to be turned upside down and she was possibly going to be fired. She was facing utter disappointment from her father and a lack of trust from Don DeLuca, all because Carina had felt the need to go off alone and try to live a life outside the safety of cameras, bodyguards and the Bella Rosa without any knowledge of the world she was getting into. Bianca knew that Carina’s father preferred not to tell her about most things involving his business but she would have at least thought that Carina would know that until she knew how to defend herself outside those doors, she needed to stay with someone who could protect her and avoid her getting hurt or kidnapped like she had just been. Surely she had to have known that if she stepped even an inch out of safety that she would have been snatched up because of who her father was. They had enemies all over, even if they couldn’t always see them. That was part of the business, after all.
She was quickly growing bored of the game she was playing, and debated letting out some of he frustration and anger by changing out of her pyjamas and going down to the hotel bar, but figured it was best not too. She had no idea what she was and was not allowed to do at the moment, and really didn’t want to fall even deeper into the Don’s bad graces. So, she sighed and scanned through her computer to see if there was anything else on there that she could do to keep her entertained. After a few minutes, she got tired of being on her laptop at all and shut it down before putting it back on her desk. After crossing back to her bed, she pulled the book she’d started over and picked it up, opening it to the page where she’d left off. After a few minutes, she’d gotten engrossed in the story and was enjoying it until she heard a knock on her bedroom door. Before she could say anything, it opened to reveal Carina, banged up and holding the teddy bear Bianca knew she slept with every night. Frowning, Bianca closed her book then put it on the table and straightened up, crossing her arms over her chest as Carina limped into the room and shut the door behind her. She wanted to say something similar to “get the hell out”, but decided to let Carina try and explain herself first, so she just stayed quiet and waited.
Bianca could see her friend scanning her face for any kind of reaction, but all Bianca did was tighten her arms across her chest and sigh. She saw the covered gash in Carina’s eyebrow and knew there were a bunch of other injuries around her body, and though she felt sorry and worry for her friend she was too upset about the entire situation to offer words of sympathy. She was afraid of losing her job, the people who had become her family, and most of all her best friend all because the Don was too paranoid to let his daughter experience freedom and a life outside the hotel. That was why she had rebelled in the first place, and Bianca could understand that despite how angry she was at Carina for acting so foolishly. When Carina finally stopped talking, Bianca sighed. “Yeah, because telling him that’ll really help. He’ll just think you were making an excuse for me,”
she replied coldly. “Do you realize that because of this, I may not get to be your bodyguard anymore and you’ll have to deal with some stiff old guy in a bad suit that doesn’t let you do anything at all?” She really didn’t want to fight with Carina, but it was just too hard not to say the words. “God, Carina, you could have just said something if you didn’t want to go back right away instead of running off. You don’t know how to protect yourself out there yet.” At that, she let the words sink in and waited for Carina’s response. [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGGING CARINA!
