WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT RILEY:
"Who's Riley? Oh, you mean that smart girl in my AP English class? Yeah, I know who she is. Yeah, I heard she was smart and stuff like that. I don't know. She's, like, only sixteen or something. I think they said she skipped a grade or whatever. Yeah, she's really smart. She's always has the answers and putting her hand up in the air and whatever. What? Oh, no, I don't really talk to her. Not because she's not a nice girl, but she's kind of, like, shy. She's doesn't really talk to anyone. Keeps to herself mostly."
"Yes, Miss Langdon is very bright. We don't offer too many scholarships to this school, but it would have been a shame if we didn't nurture her talents. Yes, that girl will go far in life. I have great hopes for her. Her parents were nothing but loving and encouraging. Without the scholarship, she may have been stuck at some public school and not have the vast opportunities this school has to offer. I've tried to encourage her to go to the East Coast and apply to Princeton, Harvard, or Yale. But, she insists on staying close to home and go to Standford."
"Yeah, we dated a little bit, but it didn't work out. Why? I don't know. She was just too...I don't want to sound like a prick, but she was too good. Riley's always doing charity work and getting straight A's and involved in all of these school stuff. Yeah, she's an overachiever. How could I keep up with that? She doesn't have a chastity ring on her finger, but she might as well. I couldn't waste my time."
"Oh, Riley's a good role model. She takes care of her siblings and always help them with their homework. What? Name one bad thing? Uh...if she has any, I don't know what they are. No, she tends to keep to herself. I guess some people might say that's suspicious, but she's really a good girl. There's nothing to worry about with her."
"Look, the only juicy thing you'll get from me is that Riley as a type that most people wouldn't expect from her. What do you mean you don't understand? People think she's this nice, little, sweet girl, right? Well, she tend to go for the bad boys. Who knows what secret trouble she's brewing up with them. What? No, I've never seen her do anything bad, but that doesn't mean she never does, right?"
